Pinterest Project 2014

So as I prepare to enter a New Year... I have always thought new resolutions are just a bit unrealistic, so instead I have opted to start a year long project!  I am a self proclaimed Pinterest addict!  I know I am not the only one out there..... Daily I go on Pinterest finding the coolest outfits, hairstyles,  and recipes to try and to be quite honest.... Some have turned out great and some... Well let's just say, not my greatest moment! So to justify the reason behind my obsession of creativity in the kitchen and beyond I am going to document daily my Pinterest discoveries and experiences!
Now to make this most interesting is that I am a full time working mom, so planning ahead and journaling  this adventure is definitely going to be necessary in this Project of mine....so as I prepare and embark on this .... I hope you enjoy the experience , as I can only imagine the many laughs to come in my life and families during this upcoming year!

What I see behind the lense

When I have the opportunity to do a bit of travel, I find that I truely enjoy the wonder and beauty of this wonderful life I have. Should it be the natural wonders of the world, or the heavenly places I have the opportunity to be in, I always seem to see the beauty in all! I think if we all took the time to look at the beauty of the simple things , we might start looking at life and living life just a bit differently!~ Bonnie Arlene

Gift Jar for Advancement to Young Women

~A sweet sister shared with me that when a young girl advances to the Young Women it can be a bitter sweet  moment for her. So with some thoughts from a friend and some creative ideas of my own, I created this gift to make this changing day special for her.

~~I took on old quart mason jar and placed a handfull of candies with a little note( stay sweet), A rock with a little reminder note( We can always be forgiven for our sins), A shell with a note inside( Don't be afraid to come out of your shell ), A handmade beaded bracelet  representing the 8 young womens values ( purple,red,blue,yellow,gold,green, orange, clear ) and a card reading...
                            " Learning to fully understand the docrines of the gospel is a process of a lifetime and comes line upon line, precept uponprecept, here a little and there a little" (2 Nephi 28:30)

~ Again...my 3 yong women came to me hoping that I would find some way to help them raise money for camp.....Together we put our heads together and created a warm memory for our  Young Womens president for the year!

Choose the Right..quilt for Vero Beach Primary

~ Being a fairly new Primary President, I have learned to love all these great blogs and posts and links to get great ideas for our Primary. I just love creating memories and things to remind us of important moments, so as I was exploring I found a really great concept for the 2012 Sharing Time and modified it slighly to my talents, so to the individual who had the idea for the tree and poem thank-you..It has been so much fun watching our tree grow this year!~ Bonnie

My creative side!

I love trying new things especially my hand at crafts! Give me a thought and I will run with it....some friends consider me an overachiever, I tend to excel at those things I enjoy and avoid those things I realize I am not so good at.  I am also not so great at blogging but I hope to become better at it, especially since I love looking at others and getting great ideas!~~ I am a recycle queen when it comes to things that have special meaning to me or even to others. So I do have an upcoming project I will be starting here soon and I will post pictures of my progress as I work at completing it. Hopefully it will get your creative juices flowing and jump start your creative side.~ Bonnie
